Though located directly behind the National Archaeological Museum, there is nothing archaic about the Best Western Museum Hotel. Sure, it's part of the Best Western hotel chain, but the Museum is distinctive for its bed-and-breakfast approach to service.
This 93-room hotel occupies two adjacent buildings. One houses the hotel's single and double rooms, and the other, built only four years ago, houses the triple rooms and junior suites. The vibrant, original art work in the rooms and hallways has a Mediterranean theme.
Bedrooms have royal blue bedspreads, upholstery, and carpets. Wood furniture is either maple- or chocolate-hued and includes a wall-mounted headboard with matching nightstands, chairs, and vanity. Bathrooms have pretty gray tiling. The three- and four-bed rooms, along with the junior suites, have bathtub-shower combinations. Single and double rooms have showers only.
