The three-star Jason Inn offers 56 adequate rooms, some with Acropolis views, at reasonable rates.
Bedrooms have the familiar set-up of a mid-range hotel: wall-to-wall carpets (we spy a rust-hued palette!) and bed units with attached desks. All the rooms are equipped with air conditioning, telephones, and satellite television. Pricier Acropolis-facing rooms have fantastic views, albeit from tiny balconies.
The Jason Inn is notable, however, for its rooftop terrace. Though Athens is littered with hotels with roof terraces offering decent views of the Acropolis, Jason Inn's roof terrace features one of the most jaw-droppingly gorgeous views of the Acropolis we came across in Athens. Outfitted with a restaurant and a massive awning, this is one roof garden that deserves some hype.
A stone's throw from Keramikos, the stunning Bernaki Museum of Islamic Art, and the Thisio metro station, Jason Inn benefits from being adjacent to, though quietly distanced from, much of the hectic tourist action in Athens.
Breakfast is included.

About the Jason Inn neighborhood
Like Omonia, Psyrri is a strikingly diverse commercial district, with countless stores and restaurants catering to various groups of immigrants. In the evening, it morphs into nightlife central, with both huge dance clubs and intimate hipster-filled holes-in-the-wall. The Thisio and Monastiraki metro stations are most convenient to Psyrri.
