While the Jason Prime Hotel's surroundings may not be the most inspiring, the hotel itself, along with the friendly staff, makes up for the trade-off. This 82-room hotel is part of a local chain—the Douros Group—which owns three other hotels in Athens.
The rooms are decorated in a modern, sleek style and colored in shades of icy azure and milk chocolate. Bedspreads, curtains, seat cushions, and even nightstands are done up in cool blue. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, satellite television, telephones, and mini-bars. The simple, understated bathrooms are, other than the deep blue floor tiling, entirely constructed of cream and buff toned marble. Toiletries are provided.
Breakfast is included.

About the Jason Prime neighborhood
A gritty transit and commercial hub, Omonia Square is not Athens at its most quaint and ancient, but oodles of ethnic restaurants and immigrant retail shops give the area a bit of an international vibe and the Central Market features a dizzying range of goods. While Omonia is convenient for cheap sleeps and international fare, keep in mind the area can get a bit sketchy at night.
