Cheap hotels near Sagrada Família in Barcelona, Spain
Designed by Barcelona’s visionary architect Antoni Gaudi, the Sagrada Familia (or, formally, the Basílica i Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família), is a Roman Catholic basilica that has been under construction since 1882.
The church combines Gothic and Art Nouveau elements in a way that only Gaudi could, and is today one of the city’s major attractions. When the architect died in 1926, only one quarter of the construction had been completed. The current date for completion is 2026.
For visiting information, including tour tickets, visit the Sagrada Familia's Web site.
Cheap hotels near the Sagrada Familia: We recommend several hotels in the Eixample, not too far from the Sagrada Familia. Many more hotel options can be found a bit further on in the Barri Gotic.

Sant Agusti BarcelonaPlaza Sant Agusti 3 (Gracia) Distance to Sagrada Família: 1.24 km (0.77 miles) EuroCheapo Review: The oldest hotel in Barcelona (built in 1880) is located in a convenient, if gritty, neighborhood. We love Hotel Sant Agustí's sophisticated modern style, which combines old and new. | ||
