Here at EuroCheapo we love reviewing hotels with dazzling histories, quirky back-stories, and fascinating proprietors. Berlin Plaza is one establishment that features none of these. What it does have is 131 affordable, simple rooms located just off Ku'Damm.
Rooms are plainly designed, with white walls, and red-carpeted floors. The Berlin Plaza has amenities that we usually associate with pricier digs, including mini-bars and wireless Internet access. What's more, Cheapos taking red-eye flights will be happy to know that Berlin Plaza accommodates guests arriving at off hours; let the staff know ahead of time and your room will be ready.

About the Berlin Plaza neighborhood
The Kufürstendamm, or Ku'Damm, is Berlin's major shopping boulevard, the commercial heart of the former West Berlin. It features the utterly massive KaDeWe department store and about three million other retail experiences. Ok, we exaggerate, but not by much. For our purposes here, we claim hotels within a block or two of the Ku'Damm as "near." To the north is Charlottenburg and to the south is Wilmersdorf.
