You won't "err in Berlin" if you stay at this hotel, which boasts great prices on snappy rooms and an impressively convenient location just one minute from Wittenbergplatz and the Ku'damm. With 51 rooms, the hotel is a big, professionally-run place, and it's been written up in almost all the travel guides: book ahead.
The Hotel Air in Berlin occupies a lovely 19th-century building with a bright, modern lobby and cool, art nouveau staircases. Upstairs, the hallways are old-fashioned and creaky, while the comfortable rooms have been renovated and provide clean, faux-wood furnishings and fresh new carpets. Some bathrooms come with tubs, many are quite spacious, and all are tiled and clean.

About the Hotel Air in Berlin neighborhood
The Kufürstendamm, or Ku'Damm, is Berlin's major shopping boulevard, the commercial heart of the former West Berlin. It features the utterly massive KaDeWe department store and about three million other retail experiences. Ok, we exaggerate, but not by much. For our purposes here, we claim hotels within a block or two of the Ku'Damm as "near." To the north is Charlottenburg and to the south is Wilmersdorf.
