Hotel-Pension Majesty, another of Charlottenburg's many small pensions, offers 11 unassuming rooms. The pension's large common space opens up from the hall like a cavernous private home, with oriental rugs and white walls setting the decorative tone.
But rooms are among the cheapest in Berlin. This means that the "majesty" of this completely non-smoking hotel is not its style but rather its value. And there's no need to fret that its low rates might translate into low quality. Rooms at the Majesty may be very simple, with nondescript identikit furniture, but they're also extremely clean.
