Iceland Express, our favorite Icelandic carrier, is launching five new routes to and from Reykjavík.

Over the summer, Iceland Express will fly between Iceland and Basel, Billund, Eindhoven, Paris, and Oslo. Flights between Reykjavík and Paris and Oslo will run from May 15 through August 31; flights between Reykjavík and Billund will run from June 1 through September 15; and flights between Reykjavík and Basel and Eindhoven will run from June 1 through August 31.

Best of all, the airline promises “lots of extra seats” at their tax-inclusive lowest fares (£69; €99; DKK750; SEK995). Our quick fare check reveals that such low fares are available for mid-June travel.
