Air France’s new mini fares offer surprisingly affordable one-way flights in economy class starting at just €49 between several cities within France and throughout Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.

With prices that rival both low cost airlines and train fares on comparable routes, these sensible one-way fares mean you don’t have to buy an expensive one-way ticket to get from one destination to another (or throw away the return on a round-trip) and can help make seeing more of Europe more affordable.

The offer covers departures from Paris, Marseilles, Nice, Rennes or Toulouse, with destinations and offers varying accordingly.

A €49 one-way flight from Paris to Rome, for example, is an inexpensive way to get from one country to another, meaning you can book an open jaw flight and see two countries for less.

But keep in mind that the mini prices come with maxi restrictions:

Advanced planning is necessary as fares must be booked 40 days in advance.

Tickets are non-changeable and non-refundable.

No air miles will be awarded for mini priced flights.

No checked bags.

See the Air France website for more details.
