A three-room charmer, the Bed and Breakfast Lut En Bruno Setola has a winning location and attractive, art-themed rooms.
The B&B was opened in 2000 by Lut Houvenaeghel and Bruno Setola, a couple who, as a former nurse and a current graphic designer, know how to take care of people… with style! The Setola's three non-smoking rooms are located on the converted third floor (no elevator) of their home on St. Walburgastraat, two minutes north of Burg Square.
Each room at the Setola has its own theme. The “Lilac Room,” for example, is dressed up in pretty purples and a coordinating painting done by a friend. The bathroom is large, wood-beamed, and sky-lit. The “Red Room” follows suit with coordinating art, while the large “Orange Room” facing the back has a large bath and a sleeping loft able to accommodate two children. The overall effect in the rooms is fresh and well-designed.
Breakfast is served in the common area, and fresh fruit and candy are offered to guests throughout the day. A microwave and fridge are also at the guests’ disposal.
Note: Guests are offered lower rates the longer they stay. The Setola also charges €10 surcharge for single-night stays.
