The three-star Hotel Fevery is a sleepy charmer, located steps from St. Gilles Church. We felt at home the second we strolled into the hotel.
The Fevery’s 10 rooms are attractively outfitted in green bedspreads, blue carpets and simple wooden furniture. Cable TV, telephone, and alarm clocks come in all rooms. Most bathrooms are spacious, by European standards, and eight have bathtubs (two have shower only). The entire hotel is non-smoking.
The friendly Paul Asselman purchased the hotel in 1996 and runs it with care. Outside, the neighborhood is calm and residential, and guests may park their car (for a fee) on the street.

Located across the canal, just north of Markt Square, St. Gilles provides a calm escape from the traffic and tourists in Bruges' center and is named after St. Gilles Church. We recommend several hotels on or near St. Gilles Square, as they represent good values and are blessed with a tranquil location.
