Located just north of Astrid Park on Waalsestraat, the Koen & Annemie Dieltiens Debruyne is a welcoming three-room B&B where art rules.
Koen, who also serves as the current president of the B&B association in Bruges, is nutsy about art. Framed works (not reproductions) fill the lovely breakfast room (along with a piano; she was a music teacher), the hallways, and the rooms. She decorates mostly with Miro and Achinsky, but other artists are represented. She also collects mirrors. (Check out the large, small and funny-shaped reflecting glasses throughout.)
The three non-smoking guest rooms, located up two flights of stairs, are darling. All are decorated in Flemish style and furnished with nice wooden furniture. Koen and Dieltien have decorated the rooms with the same care that is evident in the lovely breakfast room downstairs.
