Located on a quiet street less than a five-minute walk from the Museum of Applied Arts, the Hotel Corvin provides standard accommodation with a few pleasant summertime surprises just out back.
The 44 identical rooms of the Corvin sport floral print bed covers and furnishings painted aqua-green. The atmosphere is standard budget hotel. Room décor is tied together with light green wallpaper under wainscoting of a darker shade. Though a brochure copy claims that the Corvin has a "bar lounge," the lounge is really just a small part of the entry lobby, with a modest bar located behind the reception area. We suggest that guests hit the back patio for some real lounge action.
The Hotel Corvin shares a back courtyard with the
Hotel Sissi next door. A modest BBQ pit surrounded by greenery conveniently hides a rear parking area. The atrium breakfast room is just off the terrace. A nearby meeting room also offers an indoor sunny spot.
