Chicago is a city that can be welcoming to budget travelers, with a wide variety of affordable hotels, restaurants and attractions. Sure, downtown’s full of exclusive restaurants and clubs, but you can just as easily find some of the country’s best pizza and bars with free music. Similarly, the city’s two- and three-star hotels welcome Cheapos with friendly rates throughout much of the year.
