Located on the hotel-heavy Helgolandsgade near Central Station, the one-star Absalon Annex has basic rooms with shared facilities and some of the most Cheapo-friendly rates in the city.
The 70 guestrooms are trapped in the 80s style-wise, with green patterned carpeting and fuzzy beige bedding serving as the main attractions. Artwork is limited to a floral print or two. Rooms have a small sink, and the bathrooms in the hallway are perfectly functional.
The Absalon Annex has added benefits that you won't find at most other hotels of its caliber. It shares its reception and common areas with its three-star sister, the Absalon Hotel. And, like at the Absalon proper, breakfast is included in the nightly rate.
Note: This hotel was visited by a EuroCheapo editor and is recommended based on cleanliness, location, price and overall quality. EuroCheapo did not charge this hotel to be listed.

About the Absalon Annex neighborhood
The Central Station & Tivoli area is home to many of Copenhagen's main attractions. Trains to and from the airport can be caught at the Central Station (Hovedbanegarden). Though the neighborhood is quite safe, it can seem dodgy at night, when it morphs into Copenhagen's Red Light District.
