Hotel Euroglobe

Located in a leafy, residential section of Frederiksberg, the one-star Euroglobe offers clean and simple rooms, Cheapo-friendly rates, and nothing more. In fact, charismatic owner Mr. Fuchs unapologetically explained that the hotel offers all that's required by the Danish Hotel Association of a one-star hotel…"and that's it!" This straightforward philosophy allows for quiet and safe accommodation that won't steal kroner from your partying and shopping budget.

Rooms are white, bright, and airy. If you're lucky, you might get a red headboard to mix things up a bit. We found the family rooms with three or four beds especially spacious. The set-up is bare-bones: Expect a sink, a desk, and a chair or two. Each floor has two bathrooms and showers for shared guest use.

Downstairs, a lounge area serves as a breakfast room in the mornings and a TV room in the evenings. (The all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet is included in the nightly rate.)
