The three-star Hotel Maritime, with its clean, comfortable, fresh rooms, is located in a convenient area half a block from the waterfront.

The 64 small rooms are not entirely imaginative, but they do offer a subtle nautical theme, with blue carpets, cute bedspreads, and simple light wood furniture. The bathrooms are very clean, though as simple as can be. Windows are double paned, though on this quite street noise shouldn't really be a problem.

The location is fitting, as the hotel was built as a haven for sailors and to commemorate Danish sailors who served in WWII. Today, it offers hospitality and convenience for seamen and casual travelers alike. Not only is Nyhavn Canal just around the corner, but Amalienborg palace, Amaliehaven park, and a multitude of sleek boutiques and restaurants are also within easy walking distance.

Soft drinks, sandwiches, and free coffee and tea are available in the lobby; a buffet breakfast is included in the room price.
