The 99-room Best Western Hotel Hebron is a smart choice both for its price range and its prime location near Central Station. The three-star hotel even provides some style along with the amenities you'd expect from a major chain.

The hotel has undergone renovations in phases, so not all rooms have the same décor. However, all rooms have standard three-star amenities, including hair dryers and coffee and tea making facilities. The most recently renovated rooms sport a sleek style with pretty abstract prints and a palette of slate gray, red, and taupe. The less recently renovated rooms feature a less-than-cutting-edge blend of green carpets, magenta comforters, and floral prints. Triples and family rooms have futons or couches that convert to a third bed. Bathrooms sport fresh white tiles and playful floral shower curtains. Only six rooms have bathtubs (ask ahead).

The hotel offers a large complimentary Scandinavian breakfast buffet and coffee in the afternoon. We're fans of the Hebron's worldly lobby, which features an array of plants and vases in addition to shiny black leather chairs atop Persian rugs. (The green and cheerful courtyard, which many rooms overlook, isn't bad either.)
