We did a search for 2 nights in the first week of December and found these great rates: 1) Duas Na��es Residencial, Lisbon, €35 A three-star hotel that's in the middle of the action. 2) Hotel Marina, Athens, €41 Near Omonia square; some rooms have balconies. 3) Hotel des Artistes, Rome, €42 A pleasant rooftop terrace overlooks central Rome. 4) Hotel du Commerce, Paris, €49 You'll dig the provençale-style blue and yellow décor. 5) City Hotel Ansbach, Berlin, €50 Just a block from the happenin' Wittenbergplatz. Paris Hotel Crush: Hotel de la Sorbonne Hotel de la Sorbonne Doubles: €75-150 This month, we're swooning over Hotel de la Sorbonne, a charming little place just steps from buzzing university life in the Latin Quarter. We know it's absurd, but a visit here makes us ready to study existentialism all over again.
