About
One of the big two German low-cost carriers and is Germany’s second largest airline after Lufthansa. Air Berlin flies out of 20 airports in Germany to destinations across Europe. In light of its size, Air Berlin is one of the most important low-cost carriers in Europe. It's especially good for getting to and from Germany.

Air Berlin offers quite a few perks that other low-cost airlines do not. First off, it doles out complimentary snacks and drinks on flights, perks that are close to unheard of in the low-cost world, as well as free newspapers and seat assignments. The airline also runs a frequent flyer program and offers connecting flights as single fares, fully guaranteeing that luggage will make the connection. Location: The W.A. Mozart Airport is located 4 km (2.5 mi) from the center of Salzburg and 2 km (1.2 mi) from the Austrian - German border.

Transport:

- Rail: From Salzburg "Hauptbahnhof" main railway station you are 15-20 minutes away from the airport and many tourist resorts. For exact rates and times consult the Austrian Railways Official Website.

- Bus: Buses operate at regular intervals (every 10 minutes) between Salzburg main railway station and Salzburg Airport. Sundays and public holidays every the buses run every 20 minutes. The journey time is approximately 20 minutes

- Taxi: A taxi stand can be found both directly in front of Salzburg "Hauptbahnhof" main railway station and the airport terminal taking travelers directly to the check in desks.

Service: The W.A. Mozart Airport offers many opportunities for travelers to shop and eat whether visitors would like a sit down dinner or a quick snack. The restaurants can be found on the first floor.

Arrival: Palma Mallorca, Spain - Palma de Mallorca (PMI)

Palma de Mallorca Airport or "Aeropuerto de Palma de Mallorca," previously known as Son Sant Joan Airport or "Aeropuerto de Son Sant Joan," is the third largest airport in Spain. During the summer months Palma de Mallorca Airport becomes one of the busiest airports in Europe. Also, the airport serves as a hub for German budget carrier airberlin.

Location: Palma de Mallorca Airport is an airport located approximately 8 km east of Palma de Mallorca, adjacent to the village C'an Pastilla.

Transport:

- Bus: The Airport Bus runs through central Palma de Mallorca. The trip should take roughly 30 minutes. The buses leave from the Palma Airport Arrivals floor across from the main parking structure every 15 minutes.

- Taxi: Taxis can be found outside of the Arrivals Hall. Taxi companies serving the city center include Fono Taxi, Radio Taxi, and Taxi Palma Radio. The journey from the airport to the city is around 15 minutes. Keep in mind that there are additional supplementary fees for airport transport.

Service: There are multiple information desks which can be found in the Arrivals Hall, Departures Hall and check-in. There is also a tourist information desk on the ground floor. The terminal has a bank, multiple ATMs and a post office. There are numerous bars and restaurants at the airport, which include a 24-hour bar and a 24-hour cafeteria.
