Liège Airport, also called Liège-Bierset, is the second biggest cargo airport in Belgium. It is mainly used for freight operation but also serves more than 21 destinations for passengers (mainly charters). Location: The airport is located in the north-west of the city of Liege, in the east of Belgium. Transport: - Rail: Travelers can leave the train at Liege Guillemins station and take a taxi to the airport. The journey should take approximately 15 minutes in total. - Bus: Buses are available to and from the airport. Izmir Adnan Menderes International Airport is named after the Turkish politician and former prime minister Adnan Menderes. Location: Izmir Adnan Menderes International Airport is located 18 km (11 miles) south of the city center. Transport: - Rail: Many trains stop at the airport terminal. The journey to the city center takes about 30 minutes. There are only six southbound trains every day, most of which arrive in the afternoon. They tend to be very cheap. - Bus: Bus services to and from the airport and city center run every hour. - Taxi: Taxi ranks are located in front of the airport terminal building.
