The Hotel Miramar is a competent, if unremarkable, family-owned four-star hotel in the heart of Frankfurt’s Old Town. It has many things going for it—a central location, 39 clean rooms.
Its décor, however, is not a big asset. We could do without the Hotel Miramar’s unfortunate orange-y carpet, faux-marble furniture and shabby red upholstery. But for the most part the rooms are simply a déjà vu of many other small, mid-class hotels we’ve visited. All rooms are equipped with standard amenities, including a TV, safe and minibar.
The private bathrooms have sparkling-clean showers covered in tiny tiles.
On the plus side, the Hotel Miramar is superbly located right in the middle of the Old Town action, within easy walking distance of the shopping area, sightseeing highlights and the river.
Breakfast is included in the room rate and Wi-Fi is free throughout.
