About the Seref Hotel neighborhood
Beyoglu is situated just north of Istanbul's city center and is separated from Old Town by the Golden Horn. Karakoy is its ferry terminus. Thought to be the newest part of Istanbul, the area has a distinct European feel. Its hub is considered Taksim Square. Here, tourists can catch the tram.
