From the outset, the three-star Hotel Kazimierz, with its dark wood-and-marble reception and stained-glass street-facing window, suggests just a touch of glamour. Located—not surprisingly!—in the Jewish neighborhood of Kazimierz, the hotel caters primarily to Jewish tourists.
Guest rooms here are basically run-of-the-mill, with a number of dainty touches that veer into fussy aunt territory, such as lacy curtains and a pink-orange color palette. Bed units with attached nightstands depart from this dainty motif. They're more contemporary, even vaguely minimalist, in cherry wood. All rooms are equipped with television, free wired Internet and telephone. Bathrooms are tiled in yellows and oranges, with precisely arranged toiletries.
Breakfast is included. Air conditioning addicts should note that it is a feature of some rooms but not all.

About the Hotel Kazimierz neighborhood
Krakow's historically Jewish neighborhood, Kazimierz is a quaint warren of tiny alleys and streets southeast of Stare Miasto. Several synagogues along with some churches and the Old Town Hall, form the core of the area's tourist draws. Stradom sits more or less in between Kazimierz and Stare Miasto. It's more modern and contemporary. Both 'hoods benefit from cafes, restaurants and shops.
