We were pleasantly surprised by the rooms at the Hotel Turim Lisboa, which were much nicer and more spacious than we expected. Sure, it's not party central or even a charmer. But it's affordable, and kind of classy.
Rooms have nice wood floors, a fresh classic décor, and comfortable furniture, including a large writing desk and vanity. TVs, which have a habit of being tiny in Lisbon, are a decent size. And many rooms have kitchenettes with a stove top and sink, along with a small dining area. Request ahead.
The onsite restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and opens to pleasant outdoor terrace.
The Turim Lisboa caters to tourists as well as business travelers. It's located on a quiet street not far from the action. Its sister hotel, the younger and stylistically more modern Hotel Turim Europa, is around the corner. |
