Unlike the Hotel Best Western Burns, the Comfort Inn Earls Court, a two-minute walk from the Exhibition Centre, is a typical chain hotel. But hey, if it's got the goods and fits that budget, then why not go? Don't expect atmosphere, don't expect anything exciting. Just expect a clean, safe and above average place to stay.
Although the hotel offers simple rooms, the reception is done up with very modern furnishings, geometrically patterned carpets, and bold colored paintings. Much like other hotels in Earls Court, the Burns is near the exhibition centers and, thus, offers little in the way of pretty views. However, the area is at least very quiet, with only sandwich shops littering nearby streets for that power-lunch rush by area business people.
Rooms, neither large nor small, have plain, bashful decor of light yellows and grays. There is a common room area near the breakfast hall, with a television and magazines to boot.
Overall, the Earls Court Comfort Inn is a simple and safe place to set up camp, especially for risk-averse travelers.

About the Comfort Inn Earls Court neighborhood
Young by London standards, the area known as Earls Court wasn’t much more than a farm until the city decided to build Earls Court station in the 1860s. Located south of Hyde Park and west of pricier Kensington and Chelsea, Earls Court was popular with newcomers to the city, attracted by lower rents throughout the 20th century. Today the area is a mix of working class and gentrified developments, combing beautiful Georgian townhouses, quiet squares, cheap fast food restaurants, gay nightlife, and a youthful buzz on the streets. The neighborhood offers innumerable anonymous budget hotels.
