Yet another beautiful bed and breakfast located along Cartwright Gardens, the George Hotel overlooks the communal gardens and boasts a prime Bloomsbury location (less than a 10-minute walk from the British Museum) and 40 peaceful and affordable rooms.

Guestrooms at the George Hotel, which range in size from single-bed to family-use rooms, are simply decorated and have a warm, intimate feel. All rooms are equipped with a TV, tea/coffee maker, safe and telephone.

Some rooms have private bathrooms and others share facilities. All bathrooms are clean and functional, if dated.

The classic dining room is decked out with blue, pink and green wallpaper and a small sitting area with a comfy sofa and coffee table. Its lovely arched windows, which look out onto the pretty gardens, are framed by striped curtains. A full English breakfast, included in the room rate, is served here.

As its name implies, the George Hotel is situated in a building that combines three Georgian-era townhouses. Guests have access to the private park across the street, which includes tennis courts. (Racquets and balls can be borrowed from reception.)

Wi-Fi free throughout, and there is also a free computer station in reception area.
