Offering no-frills "official" hostel accommodation one block south of Oxford Street in the heart of Soho, the YHA Oxford Street probably offers some of the cheapest beds in the neighborhood -- and that's certainly worth mentioning.
With 31 rooms, the YHA Oxford Street isn't very big, and it does fill up. Super basic dorm rooms take up three floors of the building. There are two to four bunks in a room, plus a dresser, and a sink. Linens are included. Windows overlook Noel Street. Double rooms are roughly the same as the dorms, sharing the same Spartan baths as the dorms.
The reception is open through the night, and guests may use the laundry facilities, kitchen, and TV.
