Situated inside the western edge of Kensington Gardens, the handsome Kensington Palace has been an official residence of the British Royal Family since the 17th century.

Notable residents have included Princess Diana, who lived at Kensington Palace from 1981 until her death in 1997, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Prince Harry is expected to move into the palace in 2013.
