Around Lucca

These hotels are located outside of Lucca's city walls, but are still quite close to all the action.

Inside Wall East

These hotels are located in the eastern section inside Lucca's medieval city walls. A tourist information center is located at Piazza Santa Maria which hugs the northeast side of the wall. Piazza San Francesco has a 13th-century church of the same name and east of the Piazza, the Museo Nazionale Guinigi is located just south of Via della Quarquonia. The museum offers art, paintings, sculptures and archaeological treasures.

Inside Wall West

Inside Lucca's medieval city walls, on the southwestern side, sits the large Piazza Napoleone. A tourist information center is on the Piazza and the conjoined Via Vittorio Veneto serves as Lucca's main shopping and restaurant thoroughfare. The Torre delle Ore, located on Via Fillungo, offers spectacular views of the city.
