Cheap hotels in Central Malaga, Malaga
Central Malaga sits on the shoreline of the Alboran Sea. To the east Gibralfaro hill is the backdrop of the Alcazaba, the 11th-century palace-fortress of Malaga's Muslim governors. Since Malaga is Picasso's birthplace, the center is also home to a smattering of art museums, including Museo Picasso Malaga, as well as the town's cathedral and plenty of shopping. Travelers are never far away from the beach either.
