The tiny two-star Hotel Trentina sits on a pretty, peaceful street in the central Citta’ Studi neighborhood—and it couldn’t be cuter. We received such a warm welcome at the hotel that we wanted to move in.

The Hotel Trentina’s 10 rooms are basic but clean and tidy, with freshly painted peach-colored walls and fluffy, bright bedding. All are equipped with air conditioning, a phone and television. Some rooms have balconies (ask ahead).

The private bathrooms are compact but clean and well laid-out.

The Hotel Trentina exudes warmth, from the sun-steamed corridors to the oriental rugs and colorful picture frames throughout. The narrow breakfast room resembles a coffee bar and opens onto a charming back garden. A chipper staff, budget-friendly rates and an included breakfast of freshly baked bread and pastries make the Hotel Trentina a delicious deal.

Wi-Fi is free throughout. The Hotel Trentina also offers free parking.
