Located in the thick of Munich's café and boutique culture, the 71-room Hotel Cosmopolitan offers bang-for-your-buck rooms a stone’s throw from the English Gardens.
The three-star Cosmopolitan boasts a polished, modern décor. Rooms—singles, doubles, and junior suites—are spacious, and the remodeled color scheme of crushed orange and blue works well with the contemporary vibe. Paintings hang on the wall above wooden desks, adding some pizzazz.
Bathrooms are clean and offer thoughtful bonuses such as scented potpourri sticks. All rooms have balconies, either overlooking a pretty courtyard or a bustling side street.
The hotel has an open breakfast room and a sleek reception area lined with fluorescent lights. Seasonal rates dip to very Cheapo-friendly deals, making the Cosmo a good pick for this happening side of town.
