The 202-room Ibis München City promises a surprised-free and comfortable stay. Conveniently located near Central Station, the hotel offers basic, comfortable accommodation.
Rooms at this Ibis are all recently renovated and adhere to the chain's decorative standards: Wooden floors and desks, and fresh bedspreads and curtains set against gray and beige-colored walls. Rooms are equipped with TV, free Wi-Fi Internet and A/C. Bathrooms are sparkling.
The breakfast room, decked out in décor left over from the '90s, could use a makeover, but the reception and bar area are spacious and bustling.
Note: The area around the hotel is quite busy and can be noisy (thank goodness for soundproofed windows!).

About the Ibis Munchen City neighborhood
A mostly nondescript, modern neighborhood running several blocks north of the Hauptbahnhof (Munich's main train station), this area features a number of hotels. Interesting shops and a handful of bars and cafés as well as the odd building of architectural interest punctuate the 'hood.
