Located near Times Square and just around the corner from the Broadway theaters, the stately, four-star Best Western President has a pleasing décor that draws on international influences.
The hotel’s 334 rooms are elegantly colorful, decked out in browns, golds and purples. Modern amenities include air conditioning, plasma TV, iHome docking stations, telephones and free Wi-Fi. The bathrooms are polished and clean.
Downstairs, the funky, modern Primary Lounge is a fun homage to the Best Western President’s name, and two restaurants, Saigon 48 (Vietnamese) and Aoki (sushi) serve up Asian eats. There is also a travel desk with helpful folks on hand to assist guests with their plans.

Midtown West is packed with tourists sights... and tourist-class hotels. Working west from Fifth Avenue to Hell's Kitchen and up to Central Park, the neighborhood is home to the Theater District, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, Carnegie Hall, and the Museum of Modern Art. Not to mention Times Square—an entity within itself. Though most New Yorkers steer clear of this congested (and now pedestrianized) area, the neon lights, larger-than-life billboards, and wise-talking street vendors keep the visitors coming.
