Each of the Hotel Grimaldi's four stars are well earned, as this well-situated hotel mixes 19th Century elegance with modern comforts and a prime location near the Promenade des Anglais.
The Grimaldi is made up of two buildings linked by a courtyard garden, which provides a leafy retreat.
The 46 rooms are large, bright, and comfortable. Each floor has a different room color. Carpets, drapes and linen are in pleasing blues, greens, and yellows. Rooms are equipped with AC, minibars, and wireless Internet for a fee (request ahead). The private bathrooms are equipped with toiletries.

About the Grimaldi neighborhood
Following the beachfront, the picture-perfect Boulevard des Anglais is perfect for afternoon strolls and "special moment" splurges. Most of the hotels in this neighborhood are located north of the Boulevard, in the direction of the train station though all within easy walking distance of the beach.
