Hotel Lepante is a quaint two-star hotel that offers a distinctive "old European" feel. With a location near the shops on Place Massena and the Promenade des Anglais, the Lepante is especially well-situated.
The 27 sponge-painted rooms are equipped with air conditioning, satellite television and free Wi-Fi. Ask ahead if you want a room with a balcony. Bathrooms are modern and are stocked with toiletries and a hairdryer.
The Lepante also boasts a quiet and lovely rooftop terrace with lounge chairs and umbrellas.
Note: The Hotel Lepante does not have an elevator.

About the Hotel Lepante neighborhood
The area to the south of the train station and in Nice's center city is full of budget hotels. These vary greatly in terms of character and amenities but generally provide basic rooms at very reasonable prices. Keep in mind that the area immediately surrounding the train station, like in many other cities, has a sleazy edge. The beach is about a 20-minute walk from the train station.
