Located three blocks from the train station on Avenue Georges Clémenceau, the Hotel Saint-Georges may feel like an approximation of Grandma's favorite Florida hotel—with its outrageous colors and undeniably fake flower arrangements—but its actually a pretty good pick.
Rooms are relatively modern, pleasant, comfortable, and, most importantly, reasonable. At the Saint-Georges, ceilings are high, walls are soundproofed, rooms are air-conditioned, and fabrics and carpets are fresh. All have en suite bathrooms. And, in distinction to the rest of the hotel, room décor tends toward the light and clean.
If you'd like to look onto the pleasant patio garden, then ask for a room in the back. Four of these have balconies. If you're planning to stay for at least a week, ask about long-term stay discounts.
