Note: The Picasso Museum is currently closed for renovations. It is scheduled to reopen in spring 2013.
The museum is located in the Hôtel Salé, a sumptuous 17th-century mansion. Inside, trace Picasso’s life through his works, including painting, sculpture, drawings and engravings. Rooms are devoted to each of his major periods and date from 1905 through his death in 1973.
When it reopens in 2013, the museum will be open daily (closed Tuesday). Admission is free the first Sunday of the month. Read more on the museum's Web site.
