Cheap hotels near Charles Bridge in Prague, Czech Republic
Built between the 14th and 15 centuries, the Charles Bridge is today one of the most popular attractions in Prague. Spanning more than 500 meters over the Vltava river, the bridge's stunning Gothic guard towers and Baroque statues bring throngs of sightseers.
As the oldest bridge in Prague, the Charles carries pedestrians only. On a nice day, you'll find artists, musicians and vendors out on the bridge, giving it a lively, public-square feel.
Cheap hotels near the Charles Bridge: The bridge connects Staré Město (Old Town) with Malá Strana (Lesser Town), making it an important walkway between two of the most touristic quarters of Prague. Hotels aplenty are to be found on either side, though neither neighborhood is especially cheap. Our favorites include the U Lilie Pension and the historic Unitas Hotel.
If you're simply looking for a cheap sleep, though, and don't mind barebones accommodations, the Hostel Sokol is a friendly place with a great location.
