Cheap hotels near New Town in Prague, Czech Republic
New Town is the English translation of "Nove Mesto," a rather large district in Prague centered around Wenceslas Square. Though "new" compared to other neighborhoods in central Prague, New Town is by no means a recent settlement: It dates back to the 14th century.
In addition to Wenceslas Square, there are many other sights in New Town, including the National Museum, the National Theatre and the Mucha Museum. Additionally, the city’s main train station, Hlavni nadrazi, is located adjacent to the neighborhood.
Cheap hotels in New Town: While there are plenty of sights in New Town, it isn’t quite the tourist draw of Old Town or Lesser Town, meaning that the accommodations, while still plentiful, are a bit more affordable here. Two of our favorites are the charming and simple Jerome House Hotel and the funky Dahlia Inn.
