Cheap hotels near Petrin Lookout Tower in Prague, Czech Republic
Inspired by the Eiffel Tower, the Petrin Lookout Tower sits atop Petrin Hill in Mala Strana, offering sweeping views of central Prague. While much smaller (63 meters tall) than its Parisian look-alike, its position high above the city means the views are no less impressive.
Built in 1891 for the General Land Centennial Exhibition, the tower is today a popular tourist attraction in Prague. Visitors can reach the base by walking up the hill or taking the Petrin funicular and, once there, can either take an elevator to the top or climb 299 steps.
