B & B Riga

Located on pretty Gertrudes iela, a ten-minute walk from the Old Town in Riga's historic Center, B&B Riga offers 26 well-kept and convenient apartments that will appeal to budget travelers. Even the smallest apartment, after all, is larger than most hotel rooms.

The B&B Riga operates out of two residential buildings that date back to 1905. Its apartments accommodate up to six people, and come in a variety of shapes and sizes. The smallest and cheapest apartments are single-room studios, while larger (and pricier) spaces have two or three rooms, and a wide range of amenities. All apartments, however, provide TV, coffee/tea facilities and mini-fridge, and are decorated in a homey, pretty manner.

Most are furnished with sofas, many have kitchenettes (or at least microwaves and sinks) and six provide fully-equipped kitchens (great for long-term guests and families). The B&B’s largest apartment has four rooms, sleeps six and includes a separate kitchen and dining room—with a piano! Regardless of size, tiled baths are nice and new, and equipped with shower and hairdryer.

As B&B Riga's apartments share two residential buildings with other tenants, common spaces like hallways and staircases can be a bit rough—and there isn’t any elevator. Seven apartments face Gertrudes iela, while the rest face a quiet courtyard.

Breakfast is included and served in the bakery across the street. All rooms are non-smoking. A Wi-Fi connection is provided for free.
