The Hotel Abril is a friendly spot in the center of town. Tucked away on a small street a few blocks from Metropol Parasol, this two-star charmer makes a cheery, convenient home base.

Everything’s coming up roses in the Abril’s 20 guestrooms, where framed illustrations of flowers adorn the walls and heavy floral curtains block out the powerful Seville sun. Rooms are outfitted with dark wooden furnishings, air conditioning, a telephone and flat-screen TV. Some rooms have balconies and windows facing the street, although the quieter rooms face an interior patio.

The clean private bathrooms are outfitted with shower/tub combos and decorated in white with metallic accent tiles.

Stained glass brightens the foyer, stairwells and hallways. The Abril also offers assorted seating areas and a bright interior patio filled with plants and wicker furniture.

The Hotel Abril is owned and operated by the same folks who run two of our other favorite hotels, the B&B Naranjo and and the Hotel Abanico.

A continental breakfast buffet is available for an extra fee.Wi-Fi is free throughout and an Internet station is available in the lobby for a fee.
