For a hotel with just one star, the Hotel Maestranza sure is tasteful. The neighborhood is safe, and rates aren't unattractive either. Guests will walk away feeling they've found a bargain.
All but two of the rooms (there are 18 in all) have balconies, an extremely rare balcony-to-room ratio in Seville. Double-glass sliding doors keep out street noise. Bathrooms, many of which also have balconies, are large and include a small ceramic wine and beer cooler and a tub with a powerful showerhead. Located on a quiet residential street, it's an easy 5- to 10-minute walk to all the tourism biggies such as the bullring, the Cathedral, and Plaza Nueva.
There is a computer downstairs with Internet access for guests to use free of charge, but it's incredibly slow.
