Travelers really pinching their centimes should check in here. This is easily the cheapest deal in town, and the location is also great. Buen Dormir, or good sleep, will let you rest easy with the city's lowest rate and also offer a veritable taste of Andalusia, marked by the pension's new ceramic tile.
Unfortunately, the city upped its hostess standards and stripped the establishment of its hostal rating last year, knocking it down to a lowly pension. We don't believe it was any fault of the owners, who keep the place basic, barebones, and clean.
About three rooms on each floor share one bathroom, so remember your shower shoes. Rooms that are not en suite have either a sink or a sink and a shower, divided by only a curtain! So you'd better like your roommie.
Of the 17 rooms, five have views of the street, or rather a narrow passageway. The attic rooms are the most quaint. However, our favorites were the rooftop rooms for their stretching vistas of the city. The shared bathroom is also the largest with classic wood-beamed ceilings.
If you're planning on visiting Seville during Semana Santa or Feria and haven't booked a hotel room yet, this pension is going to be your only bet. The owners try to keep rooms available for the procrastinators who book the same day. We learned from experience.
