Aurora

Aurora is situated north of central Turin, across the Po River. The area offers easy access to Turin's main sights. Just a few tram stops away and within a 15-minute walk, tourists can get to the Royal Garden and the Egyptian treasures inside the Palazzo dell'Accademia delle Scienze Egizio. The distinctive dome of Mole Antonelliana can be reached in about thirty-minutes by foot.

Centrale: Piazza Castello

Piazza Castello is located in the heart of Turin just south of its Royal Garden. The neighborhood is close to many of Turin's main tourist attractions and travelers will find an information center in nearby Piazza Palazzo di Citta. The Duomo Di San Giovanni is north of the garden and close to the Roman Amphitheater. The Armeria Reale holds an impressive collection of arms.

Lingotto

Lingotto is an area located a few miles south of Turin's city center. Lingotto Fiere, the congress and exhibition center here, was the Fiat auto factory until 1982. Pinacoteca Giovanni e Marella Agnelli, on Via Nizza, houses artworks by Renoir, Manet and Picasso. Turin's city center is easily accessible via buses and trams running along Corso Giovanni Agnelli and Corso Filippo Turati.

Mirafiori

The neighborhood known as Mirafiori, southwest of Turin's city center, was originally built to house auto manufacturer Fiat's workforce. The industrial area is a few neighborhoods away from the city center and is accessible by bus and the Tangenziale Sud highway which runs south of Mirafiori Sud.

Porta Nuova Station

Porta Nuova Station is now the secondary train station to Turin';s revamped Stazione Porta Susa at Piazza XVII Dicembre. Porta Nuova is just south of Piazza Carlo Felice and is the stop for the airport shuttle bus. Several palazzos line the mile-long path from the train station to the Royal Garden along Via Lagrange.

S. Donato-Vittoria

The Via San Donato and Vittoria are residential neighborhoods located northwest of central Turin. The recently remodeled Stazione Porta Susa train station is within a 15-minute walk from the Via San Donato and both residential areas are well-covered by public transportation. The Royal Garden is several trams stops from both locales.
