The neighborhood known as Mirafiori, southwest of Turin's city center, was originally built to house auto manufacturer Fiat's workforce. The industrial area is a few neighborhoods away from the city center and is accessible by bus and the Tangenziale Sud highway which runs south of Mirafiori Sud.
