Old Town (Altstadt) is Zurich’s picturesque, medieval town center and dates to pre-Roman times. Tourists flock here to begin tours of Zurich and locals hang out just to be close to all the action.

From anywhere in the area, you can easily reach public transportation. Other neighborhoods of Zurich are easy to reach and most attractions are just a hop, skip and (maybe) a tram ride away.
