Cheap hotels in Old Town-New Town, Edinburgh
Most of the main tourist sights are found in this area at the heart of the city. Old Town's Royal Mile runs from Edinburgh Castle to the Palace of Holyroodhouse and the Scottish Parliament building.
New Town, which was actually constructed in the late 1700s, is known for its Georgian architecture. The main thoroughfare is Princes Street. Waverley Station and Edinburgh Bus Station are also found in this neighborhood.
